Acceptable Use Policy

1The Purpose of SoundLeads

SoundLeads is designed for professional music producers to identify artists who may be interested in licensing beats, and to assist in crafting personalised, respectful outreach messages. The Platform is a professional prospecting tool. It is not an automated messaging system, a bulk emailing engine, or a data harvesting service.

2Permitted Uses

You may use SoundLeads to: discover and research artist leads for legitimate music licensing outreach; review AI-generated outreach messages and scripts as drafting tools, then personalise and send them individually and manually; export lead data to your own CRM or Google Sheets for personal business use; generate Loom video scripts as a starting point for personalised video outreach; use the Platform for your own music production business operations.

3Prohibited Uses

3.1 Spam & Unsolicited Mass Messaging. You must not use SoundLeads data or AI-generated content to send: unsolicited bulk emails or messages to artists without individual personalisation and review; automated outreach messages sent via bots, scripts, or third-party automation tools; repetitive or harassing messages to artists who have not responded or who have declined; misleading or deceptive messages that misrepresent your identity, your music, or your offer.

3.2 Data Resale & Redistribution. You must not sell, licence, sublicence, or otherwise distribute any lead data obtained through SoundLeads to third parties. You must not share unlocked lead contact details with individuals or businesses outside of your own direct music production operation. You must not use SoundLeads data to build or populate competing lead generation databases or services.

3.3 Platform Abuse. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from SoundLeads in bulk via automated means. Do not attempt to circumvent credit deduction mechanisms or access lead data without consuming the appropriate credits. Do not create multiple accounts to exploit free credit allocations or trial features. Do not share account credentials with other individuals. Each account is for a single user only.

3.4 Harmful & Illegal Content. Do not use AI-generated outreach content to send messages that are threatening, abusive, sexually explicit, or harassing. Do not use the Platform in connection with any form of fraud, deception, or illegal commercial activity. Do not contact minors through outreach generated using the Platform. Do not use the Platform to violate the intellectual property rights of artists or any third party.

4Outreach Compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring your outreach communications comply with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction and in the jurisdiction of the recipient. This includes but is not limited to: CAN-SPAM Act (United States), PECR — Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (United Kingdom), GDPR / UK GDPR (where applicable to recipients in the UK or EU), Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), any platform-specific terms of service governing how you contact artists (e.g. Instagram, email providers). SoundLeads provides tools and data to assist your outreach efforts. It does not and cannot guarantee legal compliance of your outreach in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for seeking your own legal advice on compliance if required.

5Artist Data & Ethical Outreach

The artists whose data appears in SoundLeads are real people and professionals. We expect all users to engage with leads in a respectful, professional manner. Specifically: personalise your outreach — do not copy-paste AI-generated messages word for word to dozens of artists; be honest about who you are and what you are offering; respect artists who do not respond or who decline — do not continue contacting them; do not make false claims about your catalogue, credits, or achievements in outreach messages. We reserve the right to remove lead data from the Platform upon request from the artist or their representatives, and to take action against users who have engaged in disrespectful outreach.

6Spotify & Third-Party Platform Compliance

SoundLeads uses publicly available data sourced in part from Spotify and other music platforms. As a user of SoundLeads, you acknowledge that: your use of the Platform must not violate Spotify's Developer Terms or any other platform's terms of service; artist data provided by SoundLeads must not be used in ways that would violate the terms of the platform from which it was sourced; you should not contact artists through any platform in a way that violates that platform's messaging or contact policies.

7AI Content Responsibility

All AI-generated content (outreach messages, pitch scripts, Loom scripts) is produced by automated systems and provided as a drafting tool. You must: review all AI-generated content before sending it; edit content to ensure it is accurate, appropriate, and genuinely personalised; not represent AI-generated content as fully human-written where disclosure is legally required; take full responsibility for any content you send to artists, regardless of whether it was AI-generated. MxsterMxnds Productions Ltd accepts no responsibility for the accuracy, appropriateness, or consequences of AI-generated content that you choose to send.

8Reporting Violations

If you are aware of another user violating this AUP, or if you are an artist who has received contact from a SoundLeads user that you believe violates this policy, please report it to abuse@mxstermxnds.com. If you are an artist whose data has been used in a way that you believe violates applicable law or this AUP, contact legal@mxstermxnds.com and we will investigate promptly.

9Enforcement

We reserve the right to: issue warnings to users for minor or first-time violations; suspend accounts pending investigation of suspected violations; permanently terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations without refund; remove access to specific features where misuse is detected; report illegal activity to relevant authorities where required. We will exercise enforcement at our sole discretion, taking into account the nature and severity of the violation.
