This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and store it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. 2.1 Account Information. Email address (for login and communication), username or display name, branding inputs you provide (artist name, producer tag, genre — used to personalise AI-generated outreach), credit balance and transaction history.
2.2 Payment Information. Payments are processed by Mainstack. We do not store your payment card details. We receive payment confirmation data (transaction ID, amount, product purchased) to apply credits to your account.
2.3 Platform Usage Data. Leads you have unlocked and outreach content generated for those leads, credit transactions (purchases, deductions), feature interactions and dashboard activity, IP address and device/browser information (anonymised where possible).
2.4 Artist Lead Data. In providing the Service, SoundLeads processes publicly available data about third-party music artists scraped from platforms such as Spotify. This data includes artist names, profile links, genre tags, follower counts, contact information appearing in public profiles, and avatar images. This data is not provided by the artists themselves and is used solely to surface potential outreach leads for our users. We take reasonable steps to ensure the data we process is publicly available and handle it in accordance with applicable data protection law. If you are an artist who wishes to request removal of your data from our platform, contact legal@mxstermxnds.com.
2.5 Google Sheets Export Data. If you export leads to Google Sheets, lead data (artist name, profile information, contact details) is transmitted to your connected Google account. This export is controlled entirely by you and is subject to Google's own privacy policy.
To provide, operate, and maintain the SoundLeads Platform. To process credit purchases and apply balances to your account. To generate personalised AI outreach content using your branding inputs. To send account confirmations, credit receipts, and support communications. To send product updates and feature announcements (you may unsubscribe at any time). To monitor for abuse, fraud, and Terms of Service violations. To improve Platform performance, AI accuracy, and user experience. To comply with applicable legal obligations.
Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following legal bases: Contractual Necessity: To deliver the Service you have signed up for and manage your account. Legitimate Interests: Platform security, fraud prevention, service improvement, and marketing to existing users. Consent: Where you have opted in to marketing communications. Legal Obligation: Where retention or disclosure is required by applicable law.
Outreach messages, pitch scripts, and Loom scripts are generated using Google Gemini AI. To generate personalised content, we transmit the following data to Google's AI models: the lead's public artist profile data (name, genre, follower count, profile description) and your branding details (producer name, genre, pitch tone). We do not transmit your email address, payment data, or other sensitive personal information to AI models. Google's AI usage is governed by Google's AI usage policies. Generated content is stored in Supabase and associated with your account.
Your account data, credit balances, and unlocked lead records are stored in Supabase (a cloud database service). All data in transit is protected via TLS/SSL encryption. We implement access controls to limit who within our team can access user data. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet. You acknowledge that no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Account data: Retained for the duration of your account and for up to 7 years after account closure for legal and accounting purposes. Unlocked lead data: Retained for the duration of your account, deleted upon account closure. Payment records: Retained for 7 years for financial compliance purposes. AI-generated content: Retained for the duration of your account; deletable upon request.
We use the following third-party services to operate SoundLeads: Supabase — database and authentication. Google Gemini AI — AI content generation. Mainstack — payment processing. Spotify API — artist data sourcing. Google Sheets API — lead export. Vercel — platform hosting. Each of these services operates under their own privacy and data policies.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with: third-party service providers listed above, only as necessary to deliver the Service; law enforcement or regulatory bodies where required by applicable law; a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer. We will never share your data for third-party advertising purposes.
Your data may be processed in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, the United States, and other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers in compliance with applicable data protection law.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data; request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements); restrict or object to certain processing; data portability (receive your data in a structured, common format); withdraw consent where processing is consent-based; lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g. the ICO in the UK, or NITDA in Nigeria). Submit data rights requests to legal@mxstermxnds.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are a music artist whose publicly available profile data appears in SoundLeads and you wish to request removal, contact legal@mxstermxnds.com with the subject line "Artist Data Removal Request". We will process removal requests within 30 days.
SoundLeads is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the data immediately.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes via email and update the effective date. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
